COURSE TITLE: GOOD MICROBIOLOGICAL LABORATORY PRACTICE
INTRODUCTION
Industries in the Durban area, have in their employ, manufacturing floor staff and general assistants with years of related experience but no formal qualification in microbiology or theoretical knowledge to support this practical experience. This short course aims to fill that gap and influence competence with better understanding. There have been calls from industry for this specific short course.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course addresses the needs of microbiology and food handling industries that operate on-site laboratories. Those working in a microbiology environment and wishing to update or refresh their skills should attend this course.

COURSE TITLE: GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE FOR THE FOOD AND COSMETIC INDUSTRY
INTRODUCTION
Numerous industries in the Durban area, have in their employ, manufacturing floor staff and general assistants with years of related experience but no formal qualification or theoretical knowledge to support this experience. This short course aims to fill that gap and influence competence with better understanding.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Employees in the food manufacturing, handling and cosmetics manufacture industry will benefit most from this course. The purpose of this short course is to provide candidates from the food and cosmetic industry with the necessary knowledge base and skills for good practice relevant to hygiene and safety.

This course addresses the needs of acceptable sanitation and safety practices in food handling industries. Those working in food production environments and need to improve their skills and knowledge base should attend this course.
